Client: Marriott Hotels (Marriott International)
Marriott Hotels brand team decided to host a marketplace themed event in their brand new hotel in Washington, DC. The event was set up with local businesses that sold a variety of goods and services. The brand team requested that a set of marketing materials be created that promote and inform the attendees about each vendor stand. The goal was to create an organic, hand-crafted setting that invited guests to pick up and touch the promotional materials and taste the marketplace samples.

Marriott Global Supplier Diversity Branding Campaign
The Marriott Global Supplier Diversity Program was looking to invigorate its brand in every way possible. The team wanted to explore new brand names, reexamine their mission and overall goals, learn more about their stakeholders, discuss brand perception challenges and brainstorm new and effective ways to communicate and market to their wide range of stakeholders.
For this project, the Creative team was able to advise when necessary and develop materials to address the team’s needs. This campaign includes a new brand name, tone of voice, mission/vision, library of templates and visual references to be used in marketing and communication collateral, a print ad series, and a promotional video.

The Moxy Hotels brand team requested a set of employee guidelines outlining the food and beverage offering at a new Moxy Hotel in Europe. The printed book was developed to showcase the energy and vitality of the brand by incorporating the right mix of bright colors and bold photography.

The Marriott International Global Operations team was planning a large staff meeting and needed an instructional workbook to support the meeting agenda. The meeting agenda topics were centered on being strategic and forward-thinking, therefore the workbook was themed, the Playbook. This new theme provided the opportunity to utilize imagery centered around sports and was meant to inspire action and momentum.

Employee Innovation Series
Client: Marriott International
Marriott senior leaders identified several ‘attitudes’ and ‘behaviors’ to support their vision of creating a new team culture and mindset. They needed a way to communicate this message to employees that was engaging while sharing practical tools/insight that would be used in the work environment.
In response to this need, I developed a concept called Backstage Pass Series. This series aimed to give employees access to inspirational guest speakers, education/training activities, research and site visits. This collection of content highlighted the innovative efforts that go on behind the scenes in a variety of environments where new ideas and diverse ways of thinking thrive.

Prior to opening a series of new AC Hotels, the brand team requested a lookbook and style guide be created to communicate the brands unique perspectives on setting the tone in each of their hotels around the world. The book features a wide selection of photography coupled with guidance from interior design and guest experience experts. The end result has been distributed as a digital publication that is easily accessible to hotel employees on the go.
